Product Description

The first fin in the world made by combining three different materials, a process that Cressi perfected and patented with this fin, which guarantees unsurpassable performance. The blade is made from a special, incredibly reactive polypropylene, which is at the same time extremely light, and progressively charges up during the stride to take off like a spring at the exact moment the stride is inverted. A soft elastomer anatomically wraps around the foot, blocking it with a comfortable bite, which guarantees perfect transmission of the leg-fin thrust. A suitably solid copolymer hardens some critical zones of the foot, and is extended along the sides in two lateral stringers, which go halfway along the blade. The function of these stringers, assisted by special raised bands on the bottom of the blade, is to regulate and harmonize the bending, at the same time protecting it from shocks and abrasions. The fins are extraordinarily light compared to equivalent models of rubber footed fins and reduces the inertial masses to the minimum, to the full advantage of the effort-efficiency ratio. This fin is designed for deep skin-diving, although some Scuba professionals and instructors appreciate it a great deal. Can comfortably be worn with or without neoprene socks. The Gara 2000 HF is designed and manufactured in Italy by Cressi, a brand pioneer in scuba diving, snorkeling, and swimming equipment since 1946. The product is covered by a 2-year limited warranty.

Very good pair of fins, worth every single dollar. They fit very good on my feet and they are not too hard as some reviews said. I have used a lot of fins on the past, and in my opinion this fins are a good pair of fins if you want to use then to fish 3 to 4 times a month (nothing too cheap, nothing too super professional). For me that I practice the recreational spearfishing these fins are the best that I have tried for the price that I paid. I use a 9 size shoes and the 8-9 fins fitted perfectly.worth every penny to be honest. ive been kindof rough with them and they handle greatI ordered the 2000 HF and my buddy ordered the professionals. After diving with both, I prefer the 2000 HF. They are much firmer which allows for quick acceleration. While you can still go fast with the Gara Professional (maybe not quite as fast), it takes longer to get to top speed as they do not accelerate as fast. The tradeoff, however, is that the Gara Professional, being softer, is not as demanding on the ankles. After diving to 40' for about an hour with the HF 2000, I feel it in my ankles a smidgen, but nothing major. One other major difference between these fins is that the professionals performed really bad when swimming around on the surface. They wanted to float up on top of the water. The 2000 HF performed much better on the surface. The 2000 HF are also easier to turn around or maneuver while under water as the stiffer blade is easier to control.I had some cheap freebees on the boat but some one loaned me blue cressi pros they worked great but the clasp would bang around and fall off, I was ervous to manage these longer fins but truethfully you have to learn to roll over before you stand up in the smallest fin, these are affordable but I am so fast in these, cant say enough good!Worked amazing. Much longer then I anticipated but worked amazing. Will not fit in normal luggage. If you freedive then these fins will get you by. They are inexpensive as fins go and they are what you would expect from plastic, one-piece fins. I wear a size 12 shoe and without dive socks, the foot pocket is a little large for my bare foot. I did develop a blister on one of my toes as well after my first prolonged use of them. They are sturdy and don't float on the surface so they aren't a hinderance when you're on the surface concentrating on a pre-dive breathe-up.Overall I give them a 3/5 stars. They are a great beginner set without breaking the bank however, when you are ready to progress in your freediving, you will need to kick down some coin and go with fiberglass or carbon fiber two piece fins. These are good flippers. They are nice and stiff, so your flip is powerful. However, I lost just the one and had to buy a new pair. In the end, I got the model that was far cheaper than these and like them better. Also made by Cressi. They ended up being more comfortable and just as effective for me. It could be that I'm not that advanced a free diver to appreciate what these flippers may do for me.These are classic free diving fins that work well for those who have the leg strength to operate them. They have excellent propulsion and are quite comfortable with a pair of neoprene socks, I wouldn't recommend regular booties as they probably won't fit properly. I've had mine for years with absolutely no problems. They are quite rigid so if your looking for a very flexible pair these probably won't work for you. I would highly recommend for those who are experienced free drivers or spearfisherman.Very goodGood qualityExcellent quality!
