Would have given 5 stars,but there was an issue with the doors. Doors would not close properly. The screw holes were just a little off. Added new holes and the doors fit perfect now. That was the only problem and it was easily solved. Good cabinet for the money.I want to love this curio. I have wanted one forever and finally decided to buy one. Putting it together was a nightmare. My husband puts furniture together frequently but he got so frustrated he had to stop and finish the next day. The back "glass" panels are actually plastic with the look of glass. I don't love that but for the price it is understandable. I can look past that. My bigger concerns are that the are a few scratches and dings in the finish and in the top corners the finish is not even the same color. It appears maybe they just did a bad job applying it and it is thicker (darker) in some areas than others. Finally, the doors do not stay closed. There is a little magnet on the inside of the cabinet but to one on the door so there is nothing for the magnet to stick to in order to keep it closed. Not ideal with kids especially as they can easily open. All in all, decent if are looking for something cheap that still looks decent, but keep you expectations in check.Everything went together nicely, and it's well constructed. I was pleased that the glass, the wood and the screws fit perfectly. Inside a lamp unit on the top section , it adds a touch of warmth to the living room when the light on. Wayfair has this exact cabinet for $200 more. The top door does not stay latched, no matter what’s been tried. The door closes but isn’t secure, the way the bottom door is. Overall, it’s worth it.The connection from top part and bottom were not correct. Top part didn't have nuts in the hole so the bottom couldn't secure.The mirrors had some very visible scratches. There were also some nicks on the wood. Overall, it does look very nice after we completed the installation.The company emailed me ahead of time and sent me the corrected manual stating that the enclosed manual inside the package was incorrect. A few parts of the drawing/manual were not quite clear. Overall, it was OK. There were only drawings, no written instructions at all.The size is perfect for my Disney collection. Husband assembled in couple hours. Wish there was light in bottom half too. Would definitely recommend for the price.
