I was feeling bummed out before it arrived from reading all the negative reviews about it being cheaply made, damaged and that the doors were misaligned. But thankfully when mine arrived and I unpacked it. It looked in perfect condition. It does have a smell kinda like mothballs, but I was outside so it was not too bad and hopefully it repells moths lol.I started going over the instructions. And laying the pieces on the floor. It looks complicated at first, but once you start putting it together it starts to make sense. You definitely need a buddy to help you out because the panels have to be aligned properly, otherwise you will probably end up with a crooked door or something else. The screws went in smoothly since I used a power drill. I did get overly excited towards the end and started to rush which caused me to crack the wood at the very top, but once I put on the top part it concealed it. I should’ve added some wood glue to fill in the crack. Hopefully the crack doesn’t get bigger. It looks pretty good once finished, the doors are aligned, there are no weird gaps or scratches. And I hope it lasts because I really like it.So to conclude this review. Have a buddy help you out, take your time and make sure everything is aligned before putting the screws in and it will turn out just like the Amazon pictures. The cabinet looks and feels as described. It’s not exactly “high-end” feeling, but it is real wood (very light wood ?) and it looks nice in our space. We have the one that is stained grey and the staining has a very strong chemical smell. My wife likes the smell ?, but I find it over-powering every time I go to take something out of the cabinet. I assume the smell will dissipate over time. The “metal” top is paper thin, but it is holding up so far (1 month) and, again, it looks nice. Overall, I got what I was expecting which is a nice looking good-enough quality cabinet for a decent price. We’re pleased with our purchase.Took a chance on this cabinet based on mixed reviews. Assembly was straightforward enough but be prepared to use a drill as there are not predrilled holes on most parts. The cabinet does have a few minor chips on it, but we can live with them since it is being used outdoors and adds to its farmhouse charm. Although I think it will be sturdy enough for our needs, I do agree with some other reviews that its durability might be compromised. We placed the cabinet on our covered patio so it will not be exposed to the elements. Since it is wood, I wouldn’t recommend not keeping it on a covered porch or patio. One other observation: the cabinet smelled very strongly of pine or perhaps a chemical order. We immediately took it outside to assemble since the odor was so strong.Overall, I am pleased with the purchase, but the true test will be how long the cabinet holds up over time.It was very easy to install it. Every piece alligned well. My husband even said it alligns better than some of the inside furnitures he installed...but...as others also said, the wood is pretty thin and cheap so there are cracks on it. But it will do the job so we will keep it and use it as long as it survives the weather.Assembly was pretty straightforward. We like that it is wood rather than plastic or “wood products”. The gray stained components seem to be evenly stained. It smells peppery which seems to be common with imported wood. I wouldn’t stick this wood cabinet out in the weather without some kind of water seal, but it should hold up well on our covered patio for barbecue and hot tub storage.I pulled the item out of the box and started assembly only to find out the top right side of the cabinet was split where they had screwed it together at the factory. I proceeded to return for a reship of the same item and was simply going to swap this piece since the cabinet was already assembled. I ordered on May 13th and it is now May 19th and the replacement has not shipped. For almost $200.00 I would have expected a better product or a quicker replacement be sent once it was requested. The cabinet will serve its purpose if I can get the split piece replaced.UPDATE 05/21/22: Seller for some unknown reason has canceled the replacement order. I have contacted Amazon to try and figure this out. No word from the seller as to why either.UPDATE 06/13/22: After speaking with the seller they say they are unsure how the first replacement ended up canceled saying they wouldn't have done so and Amazon must have done it.They offered me 30% refund or I could have the damaged piece replaced. I opted to have the damaged piece replaced and the new one showed up yesterday 06/12/22.It appears the first item I received had been previously assembled because the portion that was damaged already had screws in it where the new one does not.I'm updating the review from a single star to 4 stars based on the fact the first item was damaged and the new one appears to be in good shape.I'm glad they sent the replacement and we were able to work this out.Good assembly instructions, all the parts were there and it seemed to be packaged well. Only concern is the quality of the wood - it's very thin, the paint is very thin on it as well, and multiple chips in the wood as seen in other review photos. I will repaint it and put some poly on it to protect it and bought a $20 cover from Amazon. For < $200 it fits what I wanted to do really well (hold all my BBQ accessories and give me a countertop).First off make sure you coat it with some type of sealant,
