I purchased four of these torches and I'm quite happy with them. They have a very slightly exotic appearance, and best of all, they don't look at all cheap or kitschy. They are also easy to fill, and they produce a nice tall flame if you leave the wick out a bit.One word of caution: The torches sit inside the bases, but they don't fit tightly or snap into place. This means that the torches are easy to take off for cleaning, refilling, etc., but it also means that they could get accidentally dislodged if bumped. I doubt that the wind could blow the torches off their stands, but if the stand were bumped by a person or animal the torch could probably get knocked free. This is the only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five.In summary, these torches are beautiful, but I would be VERY careful using them around children... or tipsy adults.
