How I love Louisa May Alcott! Her Little Women, and in this book her Good Wives, are so sweet and loving. How I wish I had grown up in a family like this - even if it had to be way back then. This is a family that loves each other and works with each other to make their lives better. The story is just a continuation of Little Women. It picks up when the girls are a little older and becoming women in their own right. It takes them into their adult lives and (I'm not giving anything away here because of the title) their marriages. Thanks, Louisa, for continuing this story on. Is there another book out there that takes them even farther? I must look. I love these characters, especially Jo.
