i got this for my wife because it looks really pretty in the pictures. the necklace itself is definitely pretty, its a few smaller stones that are mounted in a way that it appears to be a larger stone. the diamonds themselves aren't the most light catching, but they aren't dull and lifeless like some other inexpensive ones I've seen. they do definitely have some fire, especially in the right light, and they don't look cheap or fake. the chain itself is a good, solid one that doesn't seem flimsy. of course being gold its hypoallergenic, always a plus if you have sensitive skin. the only thing i don't like is the cheap feeling box. i think at this price point they should have packaged it in something more in line with a diamond necklace. this one, just seems cheap. not a real great look if your gifting it.I knew the stones of this necklace were going to be small- but in person, they're itty-bitty and set in to a form that tries to mask the small size into appearing like a larger single stone. The stones just don't seem to sparkle and catch the light as much as I'd hoped that they would, and the whole necklace is too light for my tastes. I don't mind smaller jewelry from time to time, but the small stones in a small setting on a thin (and frankly boring) chain just don't do it for me.I wanted to see diamonds in person and compare them to moissanite, but these stones are just too small to get a decent gauge of the two side by side. I didn't realize this was a grouping of tiny diamonds instead of one small stone. It is pretty and it's difficult to tell unless you get close so I have been wearing it. There are a lot of options for necklaces such as these and I'm not sure for the price that this is what I would personally pick. It is dainty and the chain and setting look well made.I glanced at other reviews and saw that some received less than shiny diamonds. The one I received has very nice sparkly diamonds. I got this for my wife for V day and she loves it. The squared off stones match her wedding ring. The white gold necklace is pretty, but it's very VERY tiny. Still, this made a nice little gift, and she's been wearing it almost every day.This is a beautiful, dainty necklace with a stunning gem pendant. It arrives in a large pink box with the necklace inside. I would have thought that a necklace in this price range would come in a hinged jewelry case. My necklace arrived with the pendant sliding around inside the box. My necklace arrived with a knot in it. I love the sparkle of the gems. It is not one diamond, but several small ones that make up the pendant. The piece comes with certification of the diamonds. This is a lovely necklace. I like the look of it. The chain is pretty and a good length to wear with blouses. It is a well-made chain though it is simple. I like the design of the pendant setting. It is square with the round circle of diamonds. It is a unique look. I am glad that the necklace is in white gold (not a fan of yellow gold). This is a dainty piece that I look forward to wearing when I get the knot out of the chain.This is a nice necklace with small diamonds. The chain is nice and dainty, and the setting does the diamonds justice. When it catches the light, it is apparent that it is several small stones, but they are set in such a way that it doesn't look bad or tacky. I wish that they had a bit more sparkle to them, they really just catch the light by reflecting it.For the packaging, I really don't like it. The color and design of the box is just fine, but it is just a cardboard box. The insert is really my least favorite part - it is unattractive, and some of the foam from the insert actually got caught in the chain of the necklace. If you are giving this as a gift, I would definitely get a different box - it will make a lot of difference in presentation.For the certification, I had never heard of HRD, only GIA. This is a legitimate HRD certification. I can look up my stones by number on the HRD website. Just so you know, from what I can tell, HRD is a little more relaxed with their certification than GIA, so keep that in mind. The stones in this particular necklace are rated as SI clarity, with E-F color.All in all, I think this is a pretty necklace. If you're set on real diamonds but have a bit of a budget, I think this is a solid choice, especially if you've read through all of this and know what to expect. I hope the information I've given here could be of some help!it is small - but it also doesnt claim to be anything it is not. it is a collection of small diamonds set to create a visual of a single larger stone. the shine and shimmer distract the eye just enough. it is created on a very solid 14K white gold setting, with a long 14K white gold chain - both extremely nice presenting an overall picture of high quality. and it does come with documentation around the necklace and diamonds, a very nice addition. it's not a super flashy necklace or statement piece - but it can easily be an every day necklace or just a small understated addition to any outfit. in the end - diamonds are always fun to wear, don't focus on what it isn't but rather what it is - a beautiful easy to wear sparkly dainty necklace. it can easily be paired with other jewelry if you want to create more of a statement.
