I have the Charcoal version of the Boss Orange Be Good I sneakers. They are a fairly low profile sneaker with a simple rubber sole. Compared to the Boss Orange Pinson I, the Be Good I is of thinner construction, notably lighter in weight, and more flexible. Sole traction is excellent, and significantly better than the Pinson I. These shoes feel broken in right out of the box and are very comfortable. The upper is smooth leather with a suede toe cap and other trim. The toe box seems a bit longer than a couple other pairs of Boss Orange sneakers that I have, but the fit is otherwise similar and there is enough room for my prescription orthodics. The design is nice and understated, but to tell you the truth they would probably look better without the Boss Orange lettering on the side stripe. I'm very happy with them, and like these much better than my Pinson I shoes. Highly recommended. Service from shoes.com was excellent.Update 8.20.13:These shoes have held up fairly well over time. The uppers till look good, and the soles have worn down moderately. One of them least....one of the soles has developed a significant crack almost the complete width of the shoe under the ball of the foot. It hasn't broken into two pieces yet, but it's surprisingly deep. The crack is perfectly straight and appears to be some kind of a deliberate factory made cut between two raised tread sections. It might be a sipe to improve traction....long ago I had the soles on a pair of Sebago deck shoes break into two along a sipe and this seems to be what's happening here. The shoes still look to have a lot of life in them other than this crack, so it's disappointing.
